Symptoms

Disk defragmentation for Windows 2008 R2 Containers fails with the "Class is not registered" error when you start it using the vzctl utility:
C:\Users\administrator>vzctl defrag 101
DefragmentAnalysis error - Class not registered

Resolution

The vzctl utility does not support disk defragmentation for Windows 2008 R2 Containers. It i recommended to run disk defragmentation using the native Windows tool from within Containers.
